Timothy Borowski, MS

Tim is a Natural Health Practitioner with advanced training in Naturopathic Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Mind-Body Medicine.

His area of expertise is long standing health conditions (pain or illness) that have not responded to conventional or alternative care. His practice is based on the objective to provide solutions for chronic conditions.

Identifying the root cause of physiological dysfunction is central to Tim’s methodology. His systems-based approach highlights the key importance of properly functioning biological systems. Special emphasis is placed on supporting a healthy nervous system, immune system, gastrointestinal system, lymphatic system, and “stress-response” system.

This multidisciplinary approach to health care is unique to the field. Tim has meshed science and art by integrating modern technologies and therapies with traditional healing philosophies

Natural Medicine

Tim completed a two year associateship in 2020 where he practiced kinesiology and myokinesthetics while learning traditional naturopathic medicine under Dr. Stephen Irestone DC,CTN.  During this time, Tim developed a broad understanding of how pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria, virus, fungi, and parasites contribute to chronic illness. Studying lyme disease and other chronic infections was a focal point of his associateship.

In 2021 Tim brought his Axon Movement concept to Edina, MN and joined forces with Functional Medicine powerhouse, Statera Health

With a need for expansion and room to grow, Axon Movement opened a brick-and-mortar clinic location in Edina, MN in January, 2024. Once settled in the new space, Tim founded Axon Global - the virtual extension of Axon Movement - in April, 2024.

Between Axon Movement and Axon Global, Tim’s clients have access to some of the most forward-thinking healing methodologies available on the market.

Fitness & Lifestyle Coaching

As an extension of his clinical work, Tim also su stains a busy Fitness & Lifestyle Coaching practice based out of Real Active Wellness in Downtown Minneapolis.

His approach to fitness emphasizes corrective exercise, injury prevention, weight loss, and human performance.

Foundation Training is a comprehensive corrective exercise program that is making waves globally for its positive impact on pain (especially back pain) and athletic performance. “Big Name” Foundation Training students include Lance Armstrong, Chris Hemsworth, Matthew McConaughey, Derek Fisher, Rickson Gracie, and many more. There are less than a dozen certified Foundation Training Instructors in Minnesota and Tim is one of them.

To stay true to his roots, Tim maintains active status as a Certified Personal Trainer (American Council on Exercise) and Certified Lifestyle Coach (CHEK Institute).

Timothy Borowski, MS

“I believe that chronic conditions are reversible. You’re not doomed to a life of pain and suffering. We’re experiencing the dawn of a new era in healthcare; one that integrates modern technologies and medical wisdom with the centuries-old understanding that the body will heal itself when the root cause of dysfunction is corrected.

But the path to healing is not a quick fix. It takes time, commitment and hard work; inside the clinic and out. It often requires a radical shift in perspective and complete lifestyle change.

To get different results you have to do things differently.

If you’re willing to step outside of your comfort zone and are ready to make the investment in your self and your health, then there is hope for breakthrough, despite your condition. This is why Axon Movement exists, to provide solutions for chronic conditions.”
